The call still goes over the Internet, but it is still much more secure than sending data.
Does Net2Phone work with online services?
If you are able to run third party network applications not created by your service provider, you should be able to use Net2Phone.
- America On Line- Offers support for direct Internet connections. All you need to do is download a special winsock.dll if you are not using the latest version of AOL.
- NetCom- If you are using NetCom, you will need a version later than NetCrusier 2.0 that uses a version 1.1 compliant winsock. You can get the latest version of NetCruiser free from NetCom.
- CompuServe- If you are using Compuserve, you should be OK as long as your version uses a version 1.1 compliant winsock. You can get the latest version of their dialer at http://www.compuserve.com/software/index.htm
